ما يبقى على جهازك
- تقدّم الحفظ، والأخطاء المعلَّمة، والملاحظات، والمواقف، والهدف اليومي، والإعدادات.
- التسجيلات الصوتية: تُحفظ على الجهاز ولا تُرفع إلى أي مكان، ولا تدخل في المزامنة.
- المتابعة بالصوت: التعرّف على الكلام يجري على الجهاز وحده عبر محرّك النظام؛ لا يُرسَل صوتك إلى خادمنا ولا إلى غيره، وإن لم يدعم جهازك العربية على الجهاز رُفضت الميزة بدل أن تُحوَّل إلى خادم.
- الكاميرا: تُستعمل لمسح رمز QR وحده (اقتران جهاز أو دعوة مجموعة)، ولا تُحفظ صورة ولا تُرسَل.
- النسخة الاحتياطية: ملفٌّ تصدّره أنت وتحفظه حيث شئت؛ لا نسخة منه عندنا.
ما يُرسَل إلى الخادم، ومتى
لا شيء ممّا يلي يحدث ما لم تفعّل الميزة المعنيّة من صفحة الإعدادات:
- فليتنافس المتنافسون (مجموعات المنافسة): معرّف عشوائي يولّده التطبيق، والاسم الذي تكتبه (ولك أن تكتب أي اسم)، وهدفك اليومي، وعدد ما راجعته في كل يوم، وعضويتك في المجموعات. يرى أعضاء مجموعاتك اسمك وتقدّمك اليومي فقط.
- إشعارات التشجيع: إن أذنتَ بالإشعارات حُفظ رمز الإشعارات الخاص بجهازك (من Apple أو Google) لنوصل إليك تشجيع أعضاء مجموعتك وإعلان إتمام الوِرد. وتمرّ هذه الإشعارات عبر خدمتَي Apple (APNs) وGoogle (FCM).
- المزامنة بين الأجهزة: الأخطاء المعلَّمة، والملاحظات والتعليقات التي كتبتها على الكلمات، وتقدّم الصفحات والسور، وعدّادات الأيام، والمواقف، وموضع القراءة، والهدف — مربوطةً بالمعرّف العشوائي نفسه.
الخادم قاعدة بيانات (Supabase) نستضيفها بأنفسنا على خادمنا، لا عند طرف ثالث. ويسجّل خادم الويب، كأي خادم، عنوان IP ووقت الطلب في سجلات تشغيلية لا نستعملها لتتبّع أحد.
المعرّف هو المفتاح
ليس في التطبيق حساب ولا كلمة مرور؛ المعرّف العشوائي (ويظهر في الإعدادات المتقدمة وفي رمز اقتران الأجهزة) هو ما يصل إلى بياناتك المتزامنة. فعامله معاملة كلمة المرور: لا تشارك رمز الاقتران إلا مع أجهزتك.
ما لا نفعله
- لا إعلانات، ولا أدوات تحليلات أو تتبّع، ولا ملفات تعريف ارتباط للتتبّع.
- لا نبيع بياناتك ولا نشاركها مع أحد.
- لا نطلب بريداً ولا رقم هاتف ولا موقعاً جغرافياً ولا جهات اتصال.
نسخة المتصفح وهذا الموقع
نسخة المتصفح (quran.dhokhor.com/read) تحفظ بياناتك في متصفحك نفسه (IndexedDB). والصفحة الرئيسية تحمّل خطوطها من Google Fonts، فيصل طلب الخط — ومعه عنوان IP — إلى Google.
الحذف والتحكّم
- إطفاء الميزة من الإعدادات يوقف الإرسال فوراً، ومغادرة المجموعة تزيلك منها.
- حذف التطبيق (أو مسح بيانات الموقع في المتصفح) يحذف كل ما على الجهاز.
- لحذف ما على الخادم: راسلنا على quran@dhokhor.com ومعك معرّفك من «الإعدادات المتقدمة»، فنحذف سجلّك وحالتك المتزامنة ورمز إشعاراتك.
الأطفال
التطبيق صالح لكل الأعمار، ولا يجمع عن قصد بيانات شخصية من الأطفال؛ والمزايا المتصلة بالخادم اختيارية ولا تطلب إلا اسماً يختاره المستخدم.
تغيير هذه السياسة
إن تغيّر ما يجمعه التطبيق حدّثنا هذه الصفحة وتاريخها أعلاه، وذكرنا ذلك في سجلّ تغييرات الإصدار.

In short: your memorization progress, mistakes, notes and recordings live on your device. There is no account, email or password; no ads, no analytics and no trackers. The app does not contact our server at all unless you turn on “Sync across devices” or “Competition groups”. Both are off by default.
What stays on your device
- Progress, marked mistakes, notes, bookmarks, daily goal and settings.
- Audio recordings are stored on the device only. They are never uploaded and are not synced.
- Voice follow uses the operating system’s on-device speech recognition only. Your audio is not sent to us or anyone else; if your device cannot recognize Arabic on-device, the feature refuses to start rather than falling back to a server.
- Camera is used only to scan QR codes (device pairing, group invites). No image is stored or sent.
- Backups are files you export and keep yourself. We hold no copy.
What is sent to the server, and when
Only if you enable the corresponding feature in Settings:
- Competition groups: a random identifier generated by the app, the display name you type (any name), your daily goal, your per-day review counts and your group memberships. Members of your groups see only your name and daily progress.
- Encouragement notifications: if you allow notifications, your device’s push token (from Apple or Google) is stored so group nudges and goal announcements can reach you. These are delivered through Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM).
- Sync across devices: marked mistakes, the notes and annotations you wrote on words, page and surah progress, daily counters, bookmarks, reading position and goal, tied to the same random identifier.
The server is a self-hosted Supabase (Postgres) database on our own machine, not a third-party cloud service. Like any web server it keeps operational logs (IP address, request time), which we do not use to track anyone.
Your identifier is the key
There is no account or password. The random identifier (shown in Advanced Settings and inside the device pairing QR code) is what grants access to your synced data. Treat it like a password and share the pairing code only with your own devices.
What we do not do
- No ads, analytics, trackers or tracking cookies.
- We do not sell or share your data.
- We do not ask for email, phone number, location or contacts.
Web version and this site
The web version (quran.dhokhor.com/read) stores your data in your own browser (IndexedDB). The home page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so that request, including your IP address, reaches Google.
Deletion and control
- Turning a feature off stops sending immediately; leaving a group removes you from it.
- Deleting the app (or clearing site data in the browser) deletes everything on the device.
- To delete server data, email quran@dhokhor.com with your identifier from Advanced Settings; we will delete your record, synced state and push token.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Server-backed features are optional and ask only for a name of the user’s choosing.
Changes
If what the app collects changes, we will update this page and its date, and mention it in the release notes.
