ما يبقى على جهازك
- تقدّم الحفظ، والأخطاء المعلَّمة، والملاحظات، والمواقف، والهدف اليومي، والإعدادات.
- التسجيلات الصوتية: تُحفظ على الجهاز ولا تُرفع إلى أي مكان، ولا تدخل في المزامنة.
- المتابعة بالصوت: التعرّف على التلاوة يجري على الجهاز وحده — بمحرّك النظام على الجهاز، وإن لم يعمل فبنموذجٍ يُنزَّل من خادمنا مرّةً واحدة (نحو ٨٧ م.ب) ثم يعمل بلا اتصال. لا يُرسَل صوتك إلى خادمنا ولا إلى غيره، ويمكنك حذف النموذج من إعدادات الميزة.
- الكاميرا: تُستعمل لمسح رمز QR وحده (اقتران جهاز أو دعوة مجموعة)، ولا تُحفظ صورة ولا تُرسَل.
- النسخة الاحتياطية: ملفٌّ تصدّره أنت وتحفظه حيث شئت؛ لا نسخة منه عندنا.
ما يُرسَل إلى الخادم، ومتى
لا شيء ممّا يلي يحدث ما لم تفعّل الميزة المعنيّة من صفحة الإعدادات، أو تُنهِ جولةً في التحدّي، أو ترسل بلاغاً بنفسك:
- فليتنافس المتنافسون (مجموعات المنافسة): معرّف عشوائي يولّده التطبيق، والاسم الذي تكتبه (ولك أن تكتب أي اسم)، وهدفك اليومي، وعدد ما راجعته في كل يوم، وعضويتك في المجموعات. يرى أعضاء مجموعاتك اسمك وتقدّمك اليومي فقط. ورابط الدعوة الذي ترسله يُظهر لمن يفتحه اسم المجموعة واسمك وعدد أعضائها — فلا ترسله إلا لمن تريده معك.
- إشعارات التشجيع: إن أذنتَ بالإشعارات حُفظ رمز الإشعارات الخاص بجهازك (من Apple أو Google) لنوصل إليك تشجيع أعضاء مجموعتك وإعلان إتمام الوِرد. وتمرّ هذه الإشعارات عبر خدمتَي Apple (APNs) وGoogle (FCM).
- المزامنة بين الأجهزة: الأخطاء المعلَّمة، والملاحظات والتعليقات التي كتبتها على الكلمات، وتقدّم الصفحات والسور، وعدّادات الأيام، والمواقف، وموضع القراءة، والهدف — مربوطةً بالمعرّف العشوائي نفسه.
- تحدّي «أين هذه الآية؟» (quran.dhokhor.com/guess): عند انتهاء الجولة يُرسَل الاسم الذي كتبته في التحدّي (ولك أن تكتب أي اسم) ونقاطك ونطاق الآيات ووقت المشاركة إلى لوحة الصدارة، ويراها كل من يفتح التحدّي. لا معرّف ولا شيء من بيانات حفظك يُرسَل معها، ولا تُرسَل نتيجة إن لم تُنهِ الجولة. عند عرض كل سؤال يحمّل المتصفح تلاوة آياته (وتلاوة السؤال التالي مسبقًا) مباشرةً من EveryAyah؛ ويستقبل مزوّد الصوت بيانات الاتصال المعتادة، مثل عنوان IP، دون إرسال اسمك أو نقاطك إليه.
- أبلغ عن خطأ (الإعدادات ← أبلغ عن خطأ): يُرسَل ما كتبته بنفسك، ومعه معرّفك العشوائي (كي تقرأ الردّ في «طلباتي») ومعلوماتٌ تقنيّة يلتقطها التطبيق لتشخيص ما وصفته: الوجه الذي كنت فيه وسورته وآيته، ووضع العرض والطبعة، ورقم إصدار التطبيق وحزمة تحديثه، ونوع منصّتك ورقم بنائها، وأسماء المزايا التي فعّلتها، ومعرّف آخر تقرير عطلٍ إن وُجد. ولا يُرسَل اسمك ولا شيءٌ من حفظك ولا ملاحظاتك ولا تسجيلاتك، ولا مرفقات ولا صور. ونصُّ بلاغك يقرؤه صاحب المشروع ومساعدُه الآليّ الذي يدرسه ويقترح حلّه — ولا يُنشَر ولا يُقرأ بالمفتاح العامّ. ولك أن تطلب حذفه بالبريد أدناه.
- «مع الإمام» (quran.dhokhor.com/salah): صوت الميكروفون يبقى في جوالك ولا يُرسَل إلى أحد — يُفهم على الجهاز نفسه بالنموذج الذي نزّلته. وحين يُعرف ما يتلوه الإمام يطلب المتصفح بيانات تلك السورة من موقعنا، وترجمتها — إن اخترت ترجمة — مباشرةً من موسوعة القرآن الكريم (QuranEnc.com)؛ فيعرف الخادمان أيّ سورةٍ طُلبت مع بيانات الاتصال المعتادة مثل عنوان IP، ولا شيء غيرها. والترجمة المجلوبة تُحفظ في متصفحك فلا تُطلب ثانيةً.
- مسابقة المجلس في التطبيق: أسماء المتنافسين ونقاطهم تبقى على جهازك ولا تُرسَل إلى أحد. وفي مسابقة «أين هذه الآية؟» يحمّل التطبيق تلاوة كل سؤال مباشرةً من EveryAyah، فيستقبل بيانات الاتصال المعتادة مثل عنوان IP، ولا شيء غيرها.
تقارير الأعطال: إن وقع في التطبيق خطأٌ برمجي أُرسل تقريرٌ تقنيّ إلى خادمٍ نستضيفه بأنفسنا (GlitchTip على bugs.arai.center)، لنعرف ما انكسر فنصلحه. فيه نصّ الخطأ وموضعه في الشفرة، ورقم إصدار التطبيق، ونوع الجهاز ونظامه، وآخر ما جرى قبله من تنقّل بين الصفحات ولمسات (بلا نصّ ما لُمس). ولا يُرسَل فيه اسمك ولا معرّفك ولا شيءٌ من حفظك أو ملاحظاتك: تُقصّ الرموز من الروابط، ويُقنَّع كل معرّف أو بريد أو رقم في نصّ الخطأ قبل أن يغادر جهازك، ويحذف الخادم عنوان IP. ولا يُرسَل إلا عند الخطأ، ويُحذف بعد ثلاثين يوماً.
الخادم قاعدة بيانات (Supabase) نستضيفها بأنفسنا على خادمنا، لا عند طرف ثالث. ويسجّل خادم الويب، كأي خادم، عنوان IP ووقت الطلب في سجلات تشغيلية لا نستعملها لتتبّع أحد.
المعرّف هو المفتاح
ليس في التطبيق حساب ولا كلمة مرور؛ المعرّف العشوائي (ويظهر في الإعدادات المتقدمة وفي رمز اقتران الأجهزة) هو ما يصل إلى بياناتك المتزامنة. فعامله معاملة كلمة المرور: لا تشارك رمز الاقتران إلا مع أجهزتك.
ما لا نفعله
- لا إعلانات، ولا أدوات تحليلات أو تتبّع، ولا ملفات تعريف ارتباط للتتبّع. وتقارير الأعطال لا تُربط بك ولا بجهازك.
- لا نبيع بياناتك ولا نشاركها مع أحد.
- لا نطلب بريداً ولا رقم هاتف ولا موقعاً جغرافياً ولا جهات اتصال.
نسخة المتصفح وهذا الموقع
نسخة المتصفح (quran.dhokhor.com/read) تحفظ بياناتك في متصفحك نفسه (IndexedDB). والصفحة الرئيسية تحمّل خطوطها من Google Fonts، فيصل طلب الخط — ومعه عنوان IP — إلى Google.
الحذف والتحكّم
- إطفاء الميزة من الإعدادات يوقف الإرسال فوراً، ومغادرة المجموعة تزيلك منها.
- حذف التطبيق (أو مسح بيانات الموقع في المتصفح) يحذف كل ما على الجهاز.
- لحذف ما على الخادم: راسلنا على quran@dhokhor.com ومعك معرّفك من «الإعدادات المتقدمة»، فنحذف سجلّك وحالتك المتزامنة ورمز إشعاراتك. ولحذف نتيجةٍ من لوحة صدارة التحدّي أرسل الاسم ووقت المشاركة.
الأطفال
التطبيق صالح لكل الأعمار، ولا يجمع عن قصد بيانات شخصية من الأطفال؛ والمزايا المتصلة بالخادم اختيارية ولا تطلب إلا اسماً يختاره المستخدم.

إن تغيّر ما يجمعه التطبيق حدّثنا هذه الصفحة وتاريخها أعلاه، وذكرنا ذلك في سجلّ تغييرات الإصدار.

In short: your memorization progress, mistakes, notes and recordings live on your device. There is no account, email or password; no ads, no analytics and no trackers. The app sends none of your data to our server unless you turn on “Sync across devices” or “Competition groups”. Both are off by default. Otherwise it only downloads files from our server (app updates and the voice-follow model), and nothing about you is sent with them — plus technical crash reports if the app breaks, with no name, identifier or memorization data.
What stays on your device
- Progress, marked mistakes, notes, bookmarks, daily goal and settings.
- Audio recordings are stored on the device only. They are never uploaded and are not synced.
- Voice follow recognizes your recitation on the device only — with the operating system’s on-device recognizer, or, where that is unavailable, with a model downloaded once from our server (about 87 MB) that then works offline. Your audio is not sent to us or anyone else. You can delete the model from the feature’s settings.
- Camera is used only to scan QR codes (device pairing, group invites). No image is stored or sent.
- Backups are files you export and keep yourself. We hold no copy.
What is sent to the server, and when
Only if you enable the corresponding feature in Settings, finish a round of the challenge, or send us a report yourself:
- Competition groups: a random identifier generated by the app, the display name you type (any name), your daily goal, your per-day review counts and your group memberships. Members of your groups see only your name and daily progress.
- Encouragement notifications: if you allow notifications, your device’s push token (from Apple or Google) is stored so group nudges and goal announcements can reach you. These are delivered through Apple (APNs) and Google (FCM).
- Sync across devices: marked mistakes, the notes and annotations you wrote on words, page and surah progress, daily counters, bookmarks, reading position and goal, tied to the same random identifier.
- “Where is this verse?” challenge (quran.dhokhor.com/guess): when a challenge ends, the name you typed in the challenge (any name), your score, the verse scope and the time are sent to the public leaderboard, visible to anyone who opens the challenge. No identifier and nothing from your memorization data is sent, and no score is sent if you do not finish the challenge. When each question is shown, your browser loads its recitation (and preloads the next question's) directly from EveryAyah, which receives normal connection data such as your IP address, but not your name or score.
- Report a problem (Settings → «أبلغ عن خطأ»): the text you write, your random identifier (so the reply reaches you under «طلباتي»), and technical context captured by the app to diagnose what you described: the page you were on with its surah and ayah, the display mode and Mushaf edition, the app version and its live-update bundle, your platform and native build number, the names of the features you enabled, and the id of the last crash report if any. No name, nothing from your memorisation, notes or recordings, and no attachments or images. Your text is read by the app's author and by the automated assistant that studies it and proposes a fix; it is never published and cannot be read with the public key. You may ask for it to be deleted by email below.
- “With the imam” (quran.dhokhor.com/salah): microphone audio stays on your phone and is never sent anywhere — it is recognized on the device by the model you downloaded. Once the recited surah is recognized, your browser requests that surah's data from our site and, if you chose a translation, its translation directly from QuranEnc.com; both servers learn which surah was requested, along with normal connection data such as your IP address, and nothing else. Fetched translations are kept in your browser so they are not requested again.
- Majlis quiz in the app: player names and scores stay on your device and are never sent. In the “Where is this verse?” round the app loads each question's recitation directly from EveryAyah, which receives normal connection data such as your IP address, and nothing else.
Crash reports: when a programming error occurs, a technical report is sent to an error tracker we host ourselves (GlitchTip at bugs.arai.center) so we can fix it. It contains the error message and where it happened in the code, the app version, the device model and OS, and the recent page navigation and taps (without the text of what was tapped). It never contains your name, your identifier, or any memorization data or notes: tokens are stripped from links, and any identifier, email or long number in the error text is masked before it leaves your device; the server drops IP addresses. Reports are sent only on errors and deleted after 30 days.
The server is a self-hosted Supabase (Postgres) database on our own machine, not a third-party cloud service. Like any web server it keeps operational logs (IP address, request time), which we do not use to track anyone.
Your identifier is the key
There is no account or password. The random identifier (shown in Advanced Settings and inside the device pairing QR code) is what grants access to your synced data. Treat it like a password and share the pairing code only with your own devices.
What we do not do
- No ads, analytics, trackers or tracking cookies. Crash reports are not linked to you or your device.
- We do not sell or share your data.
- We do not ask for email, phone number, location or contacts.
Web version and this site
The web version (quran.dhokhor.com/read) stores your data in your own browser (IndexedDB). The home page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so that request, including your IP address, reaches Google.
Deletion and control
- Turning a feature off stops sending immediately; leaving a group removes you from it.
- Deleting the app (or clearing site data in the browser) deletes everything on the device.
- To delete server data, email quran@dhokhor.com with your identifier from Advanced Settings; we will delete your record, synced state and push token. To remove a challenge leaderboard entry, send the name and time of participation.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from children. Server-backed features are optional and ask only for a name of the user’s choosing.
Changes
If what the app collects changes, we will update this page and its date, and mention it in the release notes.
